 This garden is a true country garden taking in all the farm buildings - even the gallows - making it unique to New Zealand. The entry through the disused sheep yards, now filled with an abundance of clematis, climbing roses, masses of dahlias, fuchsias and flowering perennials.It is four acres with a large collection of flowering trees creating an umbrella effect over hundreds of camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas and many other flowering favourites including a huge collection of helleborus. The paths are easy walking grassways well suited to all ages and each curve presents a different vista to gladden the eye.
